Letting Go Of Ego

Embraced by self I dissect every failure.
Gripped by pride I focus on every flaw.
Oppressed by fear I stumble with every step.

So . . .

I am
letting go of ego
and clinging to the great
I AM.

Thanks to all of you! Sometimes it's hard to remember that pride shows up in many forms.

I love this poem. Hi I just found your blog. I really like what you had to say, but this poem struck me.

Do you ever wonder what God thinks when so many people start their sentences with "I AM"... It just always seemed to me a name of God. He didn't give out too many of those. What do you guys think?

Blessings,
Christy
